Ward was born on April 15, 1975 in MonroeLouisiana. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian primary school. For her secondary educationWard went to Ouachita Parish High School, but she transferred to River Oaks High School on the summer after her senior year. There she was on the drill and dance team. She was a student at Northeast Louisiana University briefly after graduation. Ward left her high school when she was 13 and started modeling. The beginning of her acting career came just a couple of years later down the road. Her first role was an uncredited character in 1970's soap opera All My Children, and then was cast as an teen drama for NBC Prime-Time Malibu Shores. The daytime soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the female Meg Cummings in late 1996. In 1999, she started an acting career in films as Brittany Foster the psychotic character from the horror movie The In Crowd.
